Help! I have attempted to tether using my blackberry Tour 9630, and I get the following error:

"Error 692: There was a hardware failure in the modem (or the connecting device."

Can anyone advise me how to get around this? I've followed all other directions... Many thanks!

So I did the installation or whatever, but I have a big concern... When using your BlackBerry as a modem, are you using any minutes or data usage from your carrier? or how does it actually work?
