Will the charger from the blackberry 8830 work on the 8330?

[edit] Battery on my 8320.

My battery on my blackberry 8320 says its "drained", and wont charge. do i need to get a new battery or just charge it for a large sum of hours? i need help. wont charge, says battery is drained, and stays dead with flashing light while on the charger. any suggestions?
